StarUp is a startup from Taiwan that offers coaches a sports platform to promote themselves through a website. Our website includes an attractive landing page and a user-friendly editor for coach pages, as well as other features.

Design a landing page that helps StartUp build a strong brand.
Design an easy-to-use page editor for coaches to develop their professional image and business.
Challenge
Everything is new for me: As a first-time freelance UI/UX designer, I am challenged to showcase not only my design skills, but also my communication skills and time management abilities.
Time management: I was also working full-time while freelancing as a UX/UI designer, soI had to schedule a precise time to ensure everything would be completed.

01 Discover
In this phase, I analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of competitors and indirect competitors to understand the market and the users.
Competitor analysis
First, we conduct an analysis of our competitors to gain insights into their strengths and weaknesses. Our target competitors include sports platforms and job search websites.
Here are some of our findings:
Most sports platforms have a clear and concise message on their landing page, explaining how to use their platform effectively.
The main brand color used by most sports platforms is neutral in color.
A well-designed sports platform includes instructions on how to use its functions properly.
An efficient job search website should have an intuitive web editor to fill out personal information.
